COVID-19 lessons

Ghana is a very beautiful country that is endowed with all kinds of natural and human resources. Since the demise of the First President ( Dr. Kwame Nkrumah) of the Republic of Ghana after Independence, the country has struggled to survive in terms of economic growth and development.
This is a call to answer by our successive Presidents. Politics has been considered as a game of warfare to the ordinary Ghanaian. Selfish interest and corruption have been the price tags of all political parties. Now the sting of this outbreak - the COVID-19 pandemic - has been a blueprint to enlighten the general public on lessons we all have to imbibe.
Let me highlight some of the lessons we need to consider as citizens of this country with regards to this COVID-19

🔑Wake of Leadership
Every country can grow and develop as a result of the kind of leader leading the country. A country with good leadership has a future even in the midst of unwelcome natural occurrences.  In Ghana, the COVID-19 is trying to help us to know the kind of leadership we have been having for all this while after the Death of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

🔑Administration and policy implementation
The administration is a model used to encourage diverse leaders to share their capabilities and foresight to ordinary people. The administration does not pass but it builds up. You plan for the future and let the one coming to continue the plan. One thing we need to know is that the Regime passes but the Administration stays.
Although Administration is not rigid it's the synchronization of your plans to the already existing plan to help foresight a better future for the country. However, in Ghana, every government just want to do his own thing despite what other successive Presidents had done. This Covid-19 is here to awaken us as a nation to review and restructure our administrative and policy implementation strategies.

🔑Entrepreneurship based education
Entrepreneurship is the backbone of every economy and that’s why almost all the great economies have structured their educational system to reflect entrepreneurship. Just check out what has been happening in the wake of COVID-19, government is calling upon the innovative entrepreneurs to come out with PPEs and other consumables to help protect Ghanaians and the medical experts helping our brethren with the cases of COVID-19. The country's survival is dependent on skilled and technical-based education to produce the right entrepreneurs for our country. Let's give attention to entrepreneurship.

🔑Industrialization and policy implementation
Industrialization is the development of industries in a country or region on a wide scale." These developing countries have undergone rapid industrialization". This is different from the case of Ghana. What  Dr. Kwame Nkrumah even built is rendered redundant and most also sold.
There’s nothing to boast of at this crucial time for mass production ( that’s, turning the raw resources to manufactured resources to be used by the country) Our leaders sometimes bring out good policies but the poor implementation ( the challenge of our noble country) destroys all their plans.
I appeal to all Ghanaians and the government of the nation to give utmost attention to the leadership of the country, administration and policy implementation strategies, an entrepreneurial system of education and industrialization. These are the blueprints for thriving in crisis times. We pray for a quick release of our nation and the rest of the world from this pandemic.
Kind regards,
